The Business of Football Network was founded by David Chimbaza a university student who wanted to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity in football. Like many, he dreamed of a career in the game — but quickly discovered that breaking into the industry often comes down to access, connections, and understanding how the business really works.

That challenge became the spark for TBOFN. What started with a podcast — a series of open, honest conversations with leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in football — has grown into something bigger: a network.

From transfer market insights and club strategies to the stories of the people building companies, agencies, and platforms around the sport, we aim to show what football looks like behind the scenes.

But at its core, TBOFN is about people.
